Arashi Gaiden and its unique combination
Arashi Gaiden is a turn-based action game set in the same universe as Pocket Bravery, combining tactical combat, intense storytelling, and strategic decision-making in carefully designed stages.
With pixel art visuals and fluid animations, the game challenges players to find creative solutions to overcome each encounter.
Blending elements of tactical turn-based strategy and combat, Arashi Gaiden aims to deliver an experience where planning and execution go hand in hand, giving players countless possibilities to complete each challenge in unique and inventive ways.

A very important milestone for the studio
The artist Guilherme “Gaiden” Cyriaco, responsible for the game’s animations and pixel art, celebrated the moment with an emotional message:
“I am genuinely happy that the audience will finally be able to experience our work on all consoles. I am very excited for console players to experience Arashi, and we hope they enjoy it as much as the PC.”

Jonathan Silva, CEO of Nuntius and Statera, adds:
“It is an immense pleasure to release Arashi Gaiden on all consoles. This is another important milestone we have achieved as both a studio and a publisher.”
Jonathan also emphasizes that this is a key milestone for both Statera and Nuntius Games, as bringing Arashi Gaiden to consoles, with the entire porting process developed in partnership with Nuntius, further reinforces a new phase for both companies, increasingly mature and established in the games industry.

References and recommendations
Although it presents a unique concept, Arashi Gaiden draws inspiration from several highly respected genre titles such as Red Ronin, Into the Breach, Hotline Miami, and Katana Zero. Each of these references helped shape different aspects of the experience, from combat to challenge design.
All these influences, within the shared Pocket Bravery universe and with the developers’ unique touch, make the game a fun and rewarding experience, delivering the right balance of challenge and entertainment.
According to Jonathan:
“Players who enjoyed experiences like Invisible Inc., Wargroove, Fights in Tight Spaces, SteamWorld Heist, or Mark of the Ninja will likely find many familiar elements in Arashi Gaiden.”
This combination of influences allows the game to appeal both to fans of tactical strategy and to players seeking fast, intelligent, and rewarding challenges.
